Possible new Active Directory Site broke email for Blackberry users.
I setup a new DC for our Police department here in the Township I admin. I then created a new Site for them in AD. Everything is working fine except that all their Blackberrys no longer receive email. It appears that the Blackberrys use
the Autodiscover service to login and use the OWA site (Not ActiveSync or Outlook Anywhere).
I tested some of their accounts with this site and they all check out with no errors:

All Police staff can log into OWA externally and their Outlook 2007 clients use Autodiscover internally and resolve with no problem. All other Blackberrys and Smartphones work just fine on the original Site. We are using Exchange 2007 with the
Police DC running Server 2008 and the original DC on 2003.
The two sites are on the same physical LAN and there are no internal authentication issues so Site Affinity seems like a non-issue.
After trying to configure one of their Blackberrys with every possible syntax I could think of and failing I tried setting up one of their accounts on my WinMo 6.5 phone. The account configure (using ActiveSync of course) like a champ with no errors
and can send and receive emails.
Everything seems to point to the Autodiscover service or a bad coincidence with Sprint and their Blackberrys.

well.. i guess the blackberry clients connect to the blackberry enterprise server and not exchange severs directly. please check if you have blackberry servers configured correctly with your exchange server

I probably should have mentioned that we are not running Exchange with Blackberry BES or any BB service for that matter.
Theses phones were purchased a few months ago directly by Police and were configured by their sales rep to connect via OWA to Send/receive email only. When I created the new AD Site they started having issues with email on their phones.
The reason I am pointing to Autodiscover is that once I got my hands on one of their BBs I noticed that the OWA email server was set to:
https://autodiscover.CompanyName.org/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml where comanyname = our domain name.
As you can see there is no BES or BIS settings in their client config.
I've tried to re-enter the settings with every other OWA URL and User ID combo I could think of with no success.

How’s the issue currently?
Please describe more details about the different servers in two AD sites
As windows mobile 6.5 will also use AutoDiscover to configure the partnership on the device, I think the success on it isolate the possible cause to the Blackberry
Please check if there’s any error information on the blackberry or IIS log on the exchange CAS server
Please contact Sprint, see if they can find any related network traces on their sidePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
